ATL Lab Features:

  • ATL is a state-of-the-art space established in a school with a goal to foster curiosity and innovation in young minds.
  • Lab facilities are open to the student community in and around our premises (Open Lab concept).
  • 21st century tools and technologies such as Internet of Things, 3D printing, rapid prototyping tools, robotics, miniaturized electronics and do-it-yourself kits are provided.
  • Regular periods are assigned for ATL, weekly for classes 6 to 9.
  • Students can utilise the lab to experiment and tinker.


Activities & Achievements

Activities conducted by ATL:

  • Conceptual Classes - ranging from ideation, design, proto-typing etc.
  • Participating in periodic, regional and national level competitions.
  • Periodic exhibitions / fairs / carnivals.
  • Interactions with relevant stakeholders including industry, academia and students from other schools, colleges and universities.
  • Organising popular STEM and entrepreneurship talks by reputed speakers.
  • Summer and winter camps.

Achievements:

  • The project Free Energy Ram Pump of ATL Haramain had selected as Top 100 schools in the ATL Marathon 2018, a national level competition organized by Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog set up by Central Government.
  • The project Electric Leakage Surveillance Drone in the Disaster Management category had been selected as Top 30 Schools in the School of the Month challenge – Advancing India with Drone Technology Innovation, a national level competition organized by Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog set up by Central Government.
  • The project Free Energy Ram Pump was exhibited in Vibrant Gujarat Startup & Technology Summit at Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat in 2018.
  • 3 ATL students exhibited Kisan Seva Bot project at National Science & Technology Fest at CODISSIA exhibition Centre, Coimbatore in 2019.
  • ATL students exhibited Kisan Seva Bot project in Tatva 2019, the technological festival at NIT Calicut.
  • A project was selected in solid waste Disposal category to district level of Young Innovators Programme 2021, a state level project competition by KDISC, Kerala.
  • Exhibited project in the regional fest of Students Science Fest of Kerala, SSFK 2018 at Chinmaya School, Calicut.
  • A student of class 7 has been selected for an award of 10,000/- for the year 2018-19 in INSPIRE Award Manak project competition.
  • 40 students were participated in the Student Solar Ambassadors Workshop conducted at ATL Haramain in collaboration with IIT Bombay on 2nd October 2018.
