Toppers honoured at Al Haramain English School

Puthiyangadi: A felicitation programme organized by the Management & PTA to honour the meritorious students of classes 10 & 12 was held at Al Haramain English School. The school achieved cent percent results.

Mr. Sheikh Muhammed Karakkunnu, the Assistant Ameer of JIH Kerala inaugurated the programme. He emphasised the importance of ethics and its implementation in education. Civil Service rank holder Ms. Hamna Mariyam distributed the toppers awards and she insisted the students to develop the habit of reading regularly. The secretary of the school Mr. T. K. Hussain presided over the function. Mr. Shamsudheen the PTA Vice President, Ms. Kamila MPTA President, Ms. Fathima P. K., Mr. K. Nooh, Mr. Haneefa Haji, Ms. Femida Ali, Mr. Nufail, Master Thanveer and Ms. Hanan Hafeeque felicitated.

The Principal Mrs. T. M. Safia welcomed the gathering and Ms. Thazkiya rendered the vote of thanks.

Al Haramain English School in the Limelight of Atal Tinkering Lab

Al Haramain English School, Puthiyangadi happens to be the only school in Calicut Corporation eligible for the establishment of Atal Tinkering Lab out of the 29 schools in Kerala. The brilliant ten minute presentation in the ATL challenge round by the 3 students of Al Haramain at Osmania University, Hyderabad enabled the institution to fetch this fortune. The challenge was to find a practical solution to a social issue using Science & Technology. Out of 9980 schools from India it was only 32 schools from Kerala who reached the final round and just 3 of them from Calicut got through.
